Richard Konlon Identified in Fatal Sacramento Motorcycle on River Road

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (June 6, 2023) – The Sacramento Coroner’s Office identified 69-year-old Richard Gene Konlon of Orinda who died in a motorcycle accident on River Road on May 27.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened across the river from Clarksburg Road shortly after 1:45 PM. Based on a report, Konlon was driving his motorcycle on the road at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he collided with a vehicle.
 
As a result, Konlon suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Authorities said the driver and passenger of the vehicle had minor complaints of pain.
 
Police did not suspect DUI as a factor in the accident. However, an investigation into the case is ongoing. As of now, no other details are available.
