Multiple Vehicles Involved in Longmont Hit-and-Run on Nelson Road at Hover Street
LONGMONT, CO (February 9, 2024) – Police arrested a hit-and-run driver following a multi-vehicle crash on Nelson Road on January 30.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Hover Street around 5:37 PM. Based on a report, the suspect collided with three other vehicles before leaving the scene on foot.
Police responded and found a fully-loaded Glock 43 with a magazine and another firearm magazine in the suspect’s car. These were along with a clear plastic baggy with cocaine inside, a pill bottle, a small glass jar with white powder, a scale, and multiple plastic baggies.
Police said the 29-year-old man had three other active warrants out of Garfield County and Larimer County. They arrested him on charges of DUI, possession of a weapon, and other charges.
