Motorcycle Rider Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on 10 Freeway in Houston

 
HOUSTON, TX (October 26, 2022) – Police are now looking for the hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a motorcycle rider in an accident on 10 Freeway on October 20.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 10:35 PM near Piney Point Road.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving east on the freeway prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, an 18-wheeler tractor trailer hit the side of his bike. Subsequently, the ride lost control and went underneath the trailer.
 
At that point, a Nissan Sentra hit him again. Houston Police Department officers said the driver of the trailer did not stop.
 
As a result, the motorcycle rider died at the scene.
 
The driver of a Nissan Sentra stopped and called the police while the police said they are now trying to find the driver of the semi-truck. In addition, they ask anyone with information to contact the HPD Hit and Run Unit at 713-247-4072 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
