Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run on East Louisiana Avenue in Denver

 
DENVER, CO (July 27, 2023) – Denver Police are now looking for the hit-and-run driver involved in a fatal bicycle accident on East Louisiana Avenue on July 16.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened at South Birch Street around 5:00 AM. Based on a report, the cyclist was on East Louisiana Avenue at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a dark-colored SUV traveling westbound hit the victim. The vehicle then fled the scene with a damaged headlight.
 
As a result, the bicyclist sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
As of now, officers ask anyone with information about the incident to contact the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. In addition, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
