GLENDALE, AZ (July 27, 2023) – The Glendale Police Department confirmed that one person suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Grand Avenue on July 16.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Myrtle Avenue shortly before 2:00 AM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was on the road at the time of the crash.

Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle hit the victim near the intersection. Emergency crews rushed the pedestrian to the hospital, but their injuries are unknown at this time.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
