Gregory Zachreson Killed, Bradley Jones Arrested in DUI Crash on Highway 29 [Lakeport, CA]

Gregory Zachreson Identified in Fatal DUI Crash in Lake County, Bradley Jones Arrested

 
LAKE COUNTY, CA (January 13, 2023) – Police identified 58-year-old Gregory J. Zachreson as the victim who died in a crash on Highway 29 near Argonaut Road on January 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 10:46 AM. Based on a report, Zachreson was a passenger in a 2001 Ford Focus with 31-year-old Timothy M. Laubach of Middletown as its driver.
 
Their vehicle was northbound on the highway behind 67-year-old Gary D. Moore’s 2021 Honda Passport and in front of 26-year-old Andrew T. Pick of Lakeport and 22-year-old Isis E. Martinez in a 2008 Mercedes C300. At the same time, 20-year-old Bradley C. Jones of Lakeport was driving a 1999 Chrysler Concorde in the southbound lane.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Jones drove over the solid double-yellow lines and hit Moore’s Honda head-on before continuing south and hitting Laubach’s Ford. In addition, Pick hit Jones’ Chrysler head-on.
 
As a result, Zachreson died of his injuries at the scene.
 
Laubach suffered major injuries while Pick and Martinez both suffered minor injuries. Moore was not hurt.
 
CHP officers arrested Jones for DUI. As of now, an investigation is ongoing.
