Teenage Drivers Killed in Car Crash on Greenville Street
ALBA, TX (August 31, 2022) – Ginger Durham died with another teenager in a crash on Greenville Street on August 18 at about 9:15 p.m.
As per the Texas Department of Public Safety, According to reports, a Chrysler Town and Country, operated by a 16-year-old driver, was traveling on Greenville Street – US-69 – near Alba.
For unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a Land Rover, operated by Durham.
Both the 16-year-old Chrysler driver and Durham were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
Kaden West, 21-year-old Mineola resident, was with Durham as a passenger. She was airlifted to a Tyler hospital after sustaining injuries.
The involved individuals were reportedly wearing seatbelts when the accident happened.
