Mother Died and Her Children Critically Injured after Multi-Vehicle Accident

 
CLEVELAND, TX (August 25, 2022) – A collision on Farm-to-Market 787 killed Donna Wright and injured two children on Monday, August 22.

The Texas Department of Public Safety investigated a crash that involved two big rigs, just a short distance away from the Cleveland Municipal Airport.

DPS Sgt. Justin Ruiz stated that 32-year-old Wright was heading west on Farm-to-Market 787 with two children – ages 2 and 7. She tried to pass a big rig on a curve when Wright lost control of the vehicle and slammed into another big rig.

The impact pushed the vehicle, resulting in another crash with the big rig that it previously encountered.

Wright succumbed to her injuries and died.

The children sustained critical injuries. Texas Medical Center aided to the children, as per reports.

There are no information about the drivers of the big rigs as of now. However, the authorities are currently investigating to find out if the weather or the speed contributed to the accident.
