One Seriously Injured, George Buquich Arrested in Novato Car Crash

 
NOVATO, CA (February 17, 2023) – Officers arrested 33-year-old George Buquich of Marin after a crash on Highway 101 on February 12.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Ignacio Boulevard around 10:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, Buquich was driving a Honda Fit northbound on the highway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he collided with a truck, prompting the driver to get out of his vehicle. At that point, a Honda Passport hit the victim.
 
As a result, the man suffered major injuries in the incident.
 
Police arrested Buquich on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit and run.
