Gene Dean Identified in Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Pollok

 
POLLOK, TX (October 25, 2022) – Police identified 58-year-old Gene Dean of Pollok as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 69 on October 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Allen Drive at approximately 10:16 PM.
 
Based on a report, Dean was walking on the road prior to the crash. At the same time, a 2022 Dodge pickup was traveling south on the highway. Behind it, a 2015 Chevrolet pickup towing a trailer was also traveling south. Due to unknown reasons, both vehicles struck the victim.
 
As a result, a Justice of the Peace pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
The Dodge driver, 32-year-old Caleb Gougar of Rosenberg was not hurt in the incident. The occupants of the Chevy, 62-year-old Thomas Wisdon of New Caney and 35-year-old Thomas Wisdon Jr. were not injured.
 
As of now, the crash remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
