Kalvin Streeter and Floyd Walker Detained After San Bernardino Car Crash

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (March 2, 2023) — Floyd Walker and Kalvin Streeter ended up arrested following a high-speed pursuit crash on Interstate 215 near Devore Road Exit on early Tuesday, February 21.

The incident occurred at around 1:00 a.m. involving a stolen white BMW, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Authorities said officers spotted the BMW and initiated a traffic stop at Nisqualli Road and Mariposa Road in Victorville.

However, the driver of the BMW, 20-year-old Walker who had fellow 20-year-old Streeter on board, did not comply which instigated a chase.

The pursuit continued into southbound Interstate 15 and down the Cajon Pass at around 100 miles per hour. It then wound up along southbound I-215 in the area of Devore, where Walker lost control of the BMW.

This resulted in a crash through the chain-link fence on the right shoulder of I-215 near Devore Road exit, where Walker had been ejected and landed on top of a building.

Walker and Streeter, both of whom suffered minor injuries, managed another escape attempt on foot.

However, officials tracked down the suspects before taking them into custody.

The two were booked at the West Valley Detention Center for carrying a loaded firearm/not the owner, possession of a stolen vehicle, and vehicle theft. Officials booked Walker with $100,000 bail, while officials booked Streeter for murder on a combined bail of $530,000.

The incident is still under investigation.
