Diego Duarte Dies in Sherman Oaks Car Crash

 
SHERMAN OAKS, CA (March 2, 2023) – 25-year-old Diego Armando Ramos Duarte of Van Nuys died in a crash on Ventura (101) Freeway on February 25.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported to them at 1:11 a.m. at Coldwater Canyon Avenue.

Based on a report, a silver 2014 Ford Mustang was driving through the northbound lane of the freeway when it went off-road. Soon after, the left front of the vehicle crashed into a tree and overturned.

Due to the impact, the vehicle was pushed towards a metal guard rail in the northbound US 101 on-ramp.

Authorities identified the driver as Duarte. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The CHP continued their investigation at this time.
