COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (November 20, 2024) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that five people suffered injuries in a crash on Pikes Peak Avenue on October 31.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened at Murray Boulevard around 4:45 PM. Based on a report, the crash left one of the victims trapped in their vehicle.
 
As a result, the victim and four others suffered injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported them to the hospital for treatment.
 
Crews closed all lanes of westbound Pikes Peak Avenue to give way to rescue and clearing operations.
