Fernando Farfan-Zamora Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 18, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department identified 27-year-old Fernando Farfan-Zamora who died in a motorcycle accident on Owens Avenue on July 10.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Lamont Street just before 9:40 PM. Based on a report, Farfan-Zamora was traveling westbound on Owens at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a Nissan Altima was pulling out of a private drive onto Owens. Due to unknown reasons, Farfan-Zamora struck the driver’s side of the car.
 
As a result, the victim sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
A woman passenger and two children in the Nissan suffered minor injuries but declined medical attention.
 
The driver of the Nissan showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI-related charges.
 
An investigation is ongoing to identify and locate the Cadillac driver.
