One Killed in Tonopah Semi-Truck Accident on 10 Freeway

 
TONOPAH, AZ (May 30, 2023) – Officials confirmed that two semi-trucks were involved in a fatal accident on 10 Freeway on May 24.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Hassayampa Road around 6:00 PM. Based on a report, the first truck was stopped on the right side of the eastbound freeway and partially in a travel lane prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a second truck came and hit it.
 
As a result, the driver of the first truck suffered severe injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
It’s unknown what led up to the collision.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
