Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident on South Baltimore Road at South Palouse Highway in Spokane

 
SPOKANE, WA (June 19, 2023) – The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office confirmed a fatal pedestrian accident on South Baltimore Road on June 11.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at South Palouse Highway shortly after 4:00 PM. Based on a report, a woman was crossing Palouse from the east to the west prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a man was driving a Subaru Impreza. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle struck the victim.
 
As a result, the woman sustained severe injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release her identity, pending kin notification.
 
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
The Traffic Unit is investigating the crash. At this point, no other details are available.
