Stolen Car Involved in Fatal North Las Vegas Fiery Crash

 
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (June 19, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that three people died in a stolen car crash on Carey Avenue on June 10.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Winning Way around 10:27 PM. Based on a report, a stolen compact vehicle was traveling eastbound on Carey Avenue at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a pickup truck was turning onto Winning Way. Due to unknown reasons, the compact car struck the driver’s side of the truck. As a result, the truck caught on fire.
 
As a result, one person in the pickup truck died in the incident. Additionally, two occupants in the compact vehicle also died at the scene. Officials did not yet release their names, pending kin notification.
 
Crews transported a boy from the compact to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
