One Killed after Buda Pedestrian Accident on FM 1626 near Buck’s Backyard

 
BUDA, TX (April 29, 2024) — One person suffered fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident on FM 1626 on Sunday, April 14.
 
According to the Buda police, the crash occurred at about 12:20 a.m. in the 1750 block of FM 1626 in front of Buck’s Backyard.
 
Buda police said the pedestrian tried to cross the road in front of the bar. Then a vehicle struck the victim.
 
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries. Emergency responders rushed them to Seton Hays Hospital. Medical personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead after their arrival.
 
The driver and a passenger of the vehicle remained at the scene. First responders also brought them to the hospital for evaluation. After that, they were released.
 
Buda Police Department conducted a full investigation. Meanwhile, Criminal Investigations Division will also conduct further investigation.
