Child Pinned Underneath Vehicle in Fatal Accident on 18th Avenue in Greeley

 
GREELEY, CO (April 29, 2024) – The Greeley Police Department confirmed that a 4-year-old died in a pedestrian accident in the 1800 block of 18th Avenue on April 14.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at a home in the area. Officers and emergency medical services arrived and found a 4-year-old child pinned under a vehicle. It was unclear how the incident occurred.
 
As a result, the child suffered grave injuries in the incident. Crews transported the victim to the hospital, where they later died. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
A 36-year-old woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Another woman and a second juvenile were not hurt in the incident.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
