GOODYEAR, AZ (April 13, 2023) – Officers confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway on April 8.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened shortly after 10:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the pedestrian was on the freeway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a car traveling eastbound struck the victim.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
DPS did not say how many people were in the vehicle, or if anyone in the vehicle was hurt.
