Motorcyclist Killed in Spokane Valley Accident on Dishman Mica Road and 8th Avenue

 
SPOKANE VALLEY, WA (May 15, 2023) – Spokane Valley deputies confirmed a fatal motorcycle accident on Dishman Mica Road on May 6.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at 8th Avenue around 11:10 AM. Based on a report, the motorcyclist was traveling north on Dishman Mica Road at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a woman was driving south on the road. As she turned east on 8th Avenue, the motorcycle collided with the side of her vehicle.
 
As a result, the rider suffered grave injuries in the incident. Spokane Valley deputies and Spokane Valley Fire Department personnel responded, but the male motorcyclist died at the scene. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver stayed at the scene and was contacted by deputies.
