Fatal Rollover Crash on 10 Freeway in Redlands; Teen Killed

 
REDLANDS, CA (May 15, 2023) – Officers confirmed that a 15-year-old boy from San Bernardino died in a rollover crash on 10 Freeway on May 5.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just west of Alabama Street at approximately 9:51 PM. Based on a report, the boy was one of the five people in a 2004 Honda Accord traveling on the freeway prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the car veered to the right, struck a streetlight pole, and overturned.
 
As a result, the boy died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The four other occupants of the car suffered moderate injuries.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
