Fatal Hit-and-Run on Paradise Valley Road in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 16, 2023) – Officers confirmed that two women died in a hit-and-run crash in the 6100 block of Paradise Valley Road on May 14.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Munda Road at approximately 2:30 AM. Based on a report, a westbound Honda Civic was turning left from Paradise Valley Road onto Munda Road at the time of the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, it crossed in front of an eastbound Ford F-150, causing a crash. Subsequently, the driver of the Ford fled on foot.
As a result, two of the passengers in the Honda – ages 20 and 25 – suffered major injuries. Paramedics transported them to the hospital, where they died.
The car’s driver, a 22-year-old woman, suffered severe injuries that were not life-threatening. A 25-year-old male passenger complained of pain.
