One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Chambers Road in Aurora

 
AURORA, CO (May 16, 2023) – The Aurora Police Department confirmed that one person died in a broadside crash on Chambers Road on May 14.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened at East 38th Avenue around 1:28 AM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a 2000 Infinity I30 sedan and making a left turn from the eastbound 70 Freeway offramp onto North Chambers Road prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a 2012 Ford F250 was traveling southbound on Chambers Road. Due to unknown reasons, the truck hit the side of the victim’s car. Subsequently, the infinity went off the roadway and down an embankment.
 
As a result, the victim suffered severe injuries and died in the incident.
 
Crews transported the two men in the Ford truck to the hospital with minor injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
