Esteban Lopez, Majid Al Juhaishi and Tessa Jeffery Identified in Fatal Phoenix Involving Multiple Vehicles

 
PHOENIX, AZ (July 17, 2023) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 21-year-old Esteban Espinoza Lopez, 54-year-old Majid Al Juhaishi and 41-year-old Tessa Jeffery who died in a crash on Thunderbird Road on July 3.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Black Canyon Highway. Based on a report, Lopez was a passenger in a white Camaro that caught fire after colliding with a red Chevrolet Traverse and a black Subaru.
 
Officers said crews rescued and took Lopez to a hospital, where he later died. Juhaishi, the driver of the Camaro, was unresponsive and suffered serious injuries. He also later died at the hospital. In addition, emergency crews pronounced Jeffery, a passenger in the Chevy, dead at the scene.
 
A man and a woman in the Subaru both suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
