Eli Mendoza Hurt in Fatal Devers Car Crash on Highway 90

 
DEVERS, TX (December 2, 2022) – Police identified 28-year-old Eli Joseph Mendoza of Houston as the victim who suffered injuries in a fatal crash on Highway 90 on November 28.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in the westbound lanes of the highway. Based on a report, a woman was driving a 2017 Nissan Rogue eastbound in the westbound lanes of the highway prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, Mendoza’s 2018 Ford van was traveling in the correct lanes. Subsequently, the Nissan struck Mendoza’s vehicle.
 
The unidentified woman died in the incident.
 
Mendoza was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. His condition is unknown at this time.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation.
