Phyllis Hill Killed, Robert Price Arrested in Rear-End Crash on Highway 90 [Liberty County, TX]

Phyllis Hill Identified in Fatal Crash in Liberty County, Robert Price Arrested

LIBERTY COUNTY, TX (December 2, 2022) – Police identified 73-year-old Phyllis Hill of Raywood as the victim who died in a rear-end crash on Highway 90 on November 27.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near FM 190 around 7:39 PM. Based on a report, Hill was attempting to turn off of the highway onto FM 190 at the time of the crash.

Due to unknown reasons, her 2002 Ford Ranger pickup was struck in the rear by a 2017 Dodge Ram.

As a result, Hill was flown to Kingwood Hospital, where she later died.

The driver of the Ram pickup, 58-year-old Robert Darnell Price of Spring, was charged with Intoxicated Manslaughter and Driving While Intoxicated as a result of the accident.

An investigation is ongoing.
