Eight Hurt in Five-Vehicle Crash on Highway 60
MESA, AZ (January 16, 2025) — Eight people suffered injuries in a five-vehicle accident on Highway 60 on Monday, January 13.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the multi-vehicle crash happened on Highway 60 near Higley Road at about 3:00 p.m.
Authorities said the incident involving five vehicles occurred in the eastbound lanes of Highway 60. They later added that eight people, including an infant, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries following the crash.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the accident temporarily blocked all lanes except for the HOV lane for around an hour.
The investigation of the cause of the crash remains is still underway.
