Dylan Taylor and Glenn Davisson Identified in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 19 in Athens

 
ATHENS, TX (April 24, 2023) – Officers identified 44-year-old Dylan Wade Taylor of Athens and 60-year-old Glenn Eric Davisson of Thornton as the victims who died in a crash on Highway 19 on April 18.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 6:10 PM.
 
Based on a report, Taylor was driving south on the highway prior to the crash. At the same time, Davisson was driving north on the same highway.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Davisson went into the southbound lane and struck Taylor’s vehicle. In addition, another southbound vehicle, driven by 79-year-old Charles Stephen Holden, collided with the other two vehicles.
 
As a result, Taylor and Davisson died at the scene.
 
Crews transported Holden to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
