Durdana Sikander Fatally Injured in Dallas Truck Crash on West Ledbetter Drive and Brook Spring Drive

 
DALLAS, TX (September 3, 2024) — Dallas VA doctor, 58-year-old Durdana Sikander, died in a truck accident on Thursday, August 22.
 
According to the Dallas police, the crash took place on West Ledbetter Drive near Brook Spring Drive at about 7:50 a.m.
 
Dallas police said Sikander was on her way to work. She was turning from West Ledbetter Drive onto Brook Spring Drive. Then a truck T-boned her vehicle.
 
Sikander died in the scene of the accident.
 
The driver who struck her stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
 
A memorial was placed where the crash happened, just 10 minutes away from the VA hospital.
 
Sikander’s friend and colleague, Dr. Rabia Khan, said Sikander treated veterans at the Dallas VA Medical Center with loyalty and a smile.
