Driver and Passenger Dead in Car Crash on Alma School Road [Mesa, AZ]

Two Killed in Car Accident on Alma School Road and Pampa Avenue

 
MESA, AZ (July 5, 2023) — A car crash on Alma School Road in Mesa killed a driver and passenger on Friday, June 23.
 
According to the Mesa police, a car drifted into oncoming traffic near Alma School Road and Pampa Avenue. The area is south of Guadalupe and north of the Western Canal.
 
The vehicle reportedly hit a curb and struck a pole. The impact killed the passenger and sent the driver to the hospital.
 
The driver has since died from sustained injuries in the crash.
 
Authorities temporarily closed Alma School Road in both directions between Pecos Avenue and Elliot Road.
 
Police continue to investigate what caused the crash.
