Pedestrian Critical in Hit-and-Run Accident on East Berry Street at Candace Court in Fort Worth

 
FORT WORTH, TX (May 2, 2023) – Fort Worth police arrested a driver who left the scene of a pedestrian accident on East Berry Street on April 16.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at Candace Court around 5:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the driver struck the pedestrian who was at the intersection trying to cross the street at the time of the accident. Subsequently, the suspect fled the scene.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered serious injuries. Fire crews and other first responders transported the man to the hospital in critical condition.
 
Officers later found and detained the driver.
