Fatal Crash on Cartwright Road in Missouri City

 
MISSOURI CITY, TX (May 2, 2023) – Missouri City police officers confirmed that a woman died in a two-vehicle crash on Cartwright Road on April 16.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at Cypress Point Drive around 1:50 PM. Based on a report, one vehicle was traveling eastbound on Cartwright Road prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, the victim was driving another vehicle northbound on Cypress Point Drive. As both vehicles were approaching the intersection, the eastbound vehicle collided with the northbound vehicle.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release her name, pending kin notification.
 
The investigation is active and ongoing. As of now, no other details are available.
