Bicyclist Injured in Kitsap County Hit-and-Run on Northeast Evening Star Lane

 
KITSAP COUNTY, WA (October 2, 2023) – Deputies arrested a man after a bicycle accident on Northeast Evening Star Lane on September 26.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Hansville Road Northeast around 5:30 AM. Based on a report, a 2013-2020 Ford Focus hit the cyclist on the lanes.
 
As a result, the victim sustained serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
 
Later on, a 54-year-old Hansville man turned himself in. Deputies arrested him on felony hit-and-run charges.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
