Donna Munoz and Kody Hornburg Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Quivira Avenue [San Diego, CA]

Kody Hornburg, Donna Munoz Identified in Fatal San Diego Accident

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 12, 2023) – The San Diego County Medical County Medical Examiner’s Office identified 39-year-old Donna Miroslava Munoz and 34-year-old Kody Grant Hornburg who died in a crash on Quivira Avenue on May 18.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at West Mission Bay Drive. Based on a report, Hornburg was driving a motorcycle at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reason, he collided with a Toyota Prius that was making a right hand turn from Mission Bay Drive. He struck the passenger side of the Prius, where Munoz was seated.
 
As a result, both suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Four other occupants of the Prius were taken to nearby hospitals with varying injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
