TEMPLE, TX (November 17, 2023) – Temple Police identified 42-year-old Dawn Michelle Beck who died in a pedestrian accident on 35 Freeway on November 14.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Nugent Avenue around 2:29 AM. Based on a report, Beck was attempting to walk across the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck her.
 
As a result, Beck suffered grave injuries in the incident. Justice of Peace Cliff Coleman pronounced her dead at the scene.
