Andrea Shaw, David Mclearen Identified in Fatal Gainesville Motorcycle Accident

 
GAINESVILLE, TX (March 29, 2023) – Officers identified 39-year-old David Wayne McLearen of Denton and 32-year-old Andrea Renee Shaw of Richardson as the victims who died in a motorcycle crash on FM 3092 on March 24.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 11:00 PM. Based on a report, the couple were traveling on a 2020 Kawasaki ZR9 northbound on the road at the time of the crash.
 
Due to an unsafe speed, McLearen failed to negotiate a curve and lost control. Subsequently, their motorcycle exited the roadway and struck a mailbox and fence.
 
As a result, both McLearen and Shaw suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
