Darius Taylor Killed in Rear-End Crash on Highway 90 at Hillcroft Avenue [Houston, TX]

Darius Taylor Identified in Fatal Stalled Car Accident in Houston

 
HOUSTON, TX (April 7, 2023) – Officers identified 23-year-old Darius Taylor as the victim who died in a rear-end car crash on Highway 90 on March 22.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Hillcroft Avenue at approximately 7:20 AM. Based on a report, Taylor had stalled out on the highway prior to the crash.
 
Harris County Precinct 7 Constable’s Office investigators said he was in the far right, moving lane of traffic. He also had his hazards on while there was smoke coming from the car’s hood.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a dually truck rear-ended his vehicle. As a result, Taylor suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
The truck driver stayed at the scene and took a field sobriety test.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
