Corey Carr Arrested after Fatal Las Vegas Hit-and-Run on Flamingo Road

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 2, 2024) — Authorities arrested 41-year-old Corey Carr following a fatal hit-and-run on Thursday, August 22.
 
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the accident happened at around 11:14 p.m. on Flamingo Road at Cameron Street.
 
In a statement, LVMPD said they believe a motorcycle with two riders was in a solo-vehicle crash. After the accident, a 28-year-old woman who was on the motorcycle, walked within the left travel lane of Flamingo Road. Then a 2020 Dodge Charger heading east struck her and fled.
 
Responding officers arrived and then pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
 
Witnesses followed the Dodge and reported the hit-and-run driver’s location to LVMPD. Officers found the vehicle and driver. They later identified the suspect driver as Corey Carr.
 
Carr displayed signs of intoxication. They arrested him on suspicion of DUI and leaving the scene of the crash.
