Two Injured in Crash on South Lima Street [Englewood, CO]

Single-Vehicle Crash on South Lima Street at East Easter Avenue in Englewood

 
ENGLEWOOD, CO (March 3, 2025) – The Arapahoe Sheriff’s Office confirmed that two women suffered injuries in a crash on South Lima Street on February 22.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened at East Easter Avenue around 1:00 AM. Based on a report, the victims’ black SUV crashed and rolled over.
 
Rescuers found the car submerged in the water and upside down.
 
Officers were able to pull one of the women out after forcing a rear door open. Rescuers with the South Metro Fire Rescue extricated the second victim from the car.
 
As a result, both victims suffered minor injuries. Crews transported them to a hospital for treatment.
 
Authorities charged the driver with DUI.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
