Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Bob Johnson Drive near Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (March 3, 2025) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident near the Broadmoor World Arena on February 27.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened on Bob Johnson Drive around 11:45 AM. Based on a report, an empty charter bus hit the adult male who was working at the World Arena at the time.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Authorities did not release the man’s identity, pending notification of next of kin.
 
According to police, the bus driver stayed on scene following the crash.
