PHOENIX, AZ (May 23, 2023) – Phoenix Police identified 58-year-old Colleen Caryn Martin who died in a hit-and-run on 27th Avenue on May 15.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Camelback Road around 9:30 PM. Based on a report, Martin was crossing the street along Camelback Road at the time of the crash.
 
When she was mid-block, a vehicle struck her and left the scene.
 
As a result, Martin suffered serious injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported her to a hospital, where she died.
 
Police have not released a vehicle description.
