PHOENIX, AZ (October 3, 2023) — A man identified as 28-year-old Cole Boaz died in a car accident in north Phoenix on Thursday, September 21.
 
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, the multi-vehicle crash took place near 23rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road at around 2:00 p.m.
 
Once firefighters arrived at the crash site, they extricated one person from a wrecked vehicle.
 
Paramedics transported two men and a woman to the hospital. Officials listed both in extremely critical condition.
 
However, the third victim sustained critical injuries. They identified Cole Boaz as one of the men and medical personnel pronounced him dead.
 
Phoenix police continue to investigate the crash.
