BUCKEYE, AZ (October 16, 2023) — A 48-year-old man identified as Kimball Clark of Buckeye died in a semi-truck on Thursday, September 28.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened shortly after 5:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 85 near Southern Avenue.
 
Reports said Clark, who was a math teacher at Odyssey Preparatory Academy, was on the way to work when his car crashed with a semi-truck on Highway 85.
 
Footage from the scene shows the Clark’s vehicle completely pinned under a semi-truck. Authorities pronounced Clark dead at the scene.
 
DPS, who continues to investigate the crash, has not yet released what may have led up to the accident.
 
Clark leaves behind a wife and four children. They created a GoFundMe fundraiser to help with funeral expenses.
