Claudia Escobar Identified in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (February 22, 2024) – The El Paso Police Department identified 47-year-old Claudia Escobar who died in a crash on Zaragoza Road on February 4.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Sun Fire Boulevard. Based on a report, Escobar had been drinking alcohol before the crash.
 
He was traveling toward Sun Fire Boulevard when she rear-ended a Toyota Rav4 and a Ford Focus. Both vehicles were stopped at the intersection waiting for a red light.
 
As a result, Escobar sustained severe injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported her to the hospital, where she later died.
 
Police did not report other injuries in the crash.
