Cipriano Gutierrez Identified after Glasscock County Semi-Truck Accident

 
GLASSCOCK COUNTY, TX (June 7, 2023) – Officials identified 48-year-old Cipriano Gutierrez of Del Rio who died in an accident on Highway 158 on May 31.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Country Road 110. Based on a report, Gutierrez was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on the highway prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a 2019 Peterbilt pulling a trailer was traveling in the same lane. Due to unknown reasons, as the Peterbilt was attempting to make a left turn at CR 110, Gutierrez failed to control his vehicle and crashed into the trailer of the Peterbilt semi-truck.
 
As a result, Gutierrez suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the truck was not hurt in the incident.
