John Lyndon, Antonio Garcia Identified in Howard County Semi-Truck Accident

 
HOWARD COUNTY, TX (June 7, 2023) – Officials identified 53-year-old Antonio Garcia of Midland and 63-year-old John Lyndon of Odessa who died in a semi-truck accident on Highway 87 on May 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 12:47 PM. Based on a report, Garcia was driving the Kenworth truck southbound on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, one of its tires blew and caused the vehicle to veer off the road onto the highway on-ramp. The truck then rolled, ejecting both the victims who were not wearing their seat belts.
 
As a result, the victims sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
