Ciana Leehang Injured in Oakland Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident

 
OAKLAND, CA (March 13, 2023) – Ciana Leehang was struck by a vehicle on the corner of 54th Street and Adeline Street on March 2.

According to the Oakland Police Department, the hit-and-run accident happened in the afternoon near the children’s hospital.

Based on reports, Leehang was on her way home near the intersection with stop signs in all directions. Soon after letting a car pass, she walked in the crosswalk where a white truck hit her.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. However, two women in the area got out of their car to assist Leehang.

They called the authorities to rush the victim to the hospital for a CT scan and some tests. Leehang suffered severe contusion to her lower back.

At this point, there is no released description of the involved driver.
