DENVER, CO (November 8, 2024) — A woman identified as Christina Rodriguez died in a fatal hit-and-run on Sunday, October 27.
 
According to the Denver Police Department, the accident happened at about 9:17 p.m. on East Alameda Avenue just west of South Colorado Boulevard.
 
Denver Police said a driver struck a woman in the city’s Hilltop neighborhood. Then the driver fled without calling the police or rendering aid to the person.
 
The woman sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene of the incident. The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner later identified the victim as Christina Rodriguez.
 
Officers later described the suspect vehicle as a white two-door vehicle.
