Christian Leal-Coronado Identified in Fatal Phoenix Car Accident Involving Bus

 
PHOENIX, AZ (August 4, 2023) – Phoenix police identified 23-year-old Christian Leal-Coronado who died in an accident on 7th Street on July 23.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Bell Road around 12:30 AM. Based on a report, Leal-Coronado was driving southbound on 7th Street prior to the crash.
 
As he approached Bell Road, he crossed into the opposite lane and hit a city bus that was traveling in the curb lane northbound.
 
As a result, Leal-Coronado suffered serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him the hospital, where he later died.
 
No one on the bus was not hurt in the crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
